2019 Dry Riesling
This straw colored wine is very aromatic and complex. Aromas and flavors of peach, lime, lemon, white flowers and wet gravel abound. It's light and zippy on the palate with a beautiful, lingering finish. Another favorite of mine.
A total of 4.3 tons of estate grown grapes was harvested on November 11, 2019 with 21 brix natural sugar, 8.4 g/l TA and a 2.93 pH. The grapes were destemmed, pressed and inoculated with yeast. A cool fermentation at 59-60 degrees lasted for 26 days. The wine is cold and heat stabilized and filtered. It has 12.6% alcohol, 8.0 g/l TA, a 3.04 pH and 0.75% residual sugar. Approximately 235 cases.
