McGregor Vineyard began producing its first Saperavi in 1985. Saperavi is an ancient wine grape originally from the country of Georgia. This estate grown and produced Saperavi was aged in oak barrels for one year. It has intense aromas and flavors of black currants and blackberries along with hints of earth, spice, and oak. While enjoyable in its youth, this wine will age nicely for many years.

Another standout vintage- Intense color, round and textured, American oak. A barrel tasting favorite, even by those not usually fond of Merlot! Approximately 141 cases
A crisp and oak free Chardonnay with a bit of sweetness. This wine has a full, rich mouthfeel and is good with light dinner and for everyday enjoyment. This is our first semi-dry Chardonnay since the memorable 2000 vintage. Approximately 312 cases produced. Estate Grown
This dry rosé is light salmon pink in color and has delightful aromas and flavors of strawberry, tart cherries and citrus zest. It has a silky, creamy texture yet remains crisp and racy on the palate. Pairs well with smoked salmon, grilled lake trout and Mediterranean fare.

This vintage of Dry Riesling has a bright golden straw color and is quite aromatic. It has intense peach and citrus zest aromatics with a distinct floral character as well. This wine is fruit driven on the palate and the aromatics blend with grapefruit, nectarine and lemon oil leading to a crisp, zesty finish.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is notably aromatic, with expressions of fresh ripe blackberries, black raspberries, and plums. The rich berry character gives way on the palate to sweet oak and graphite/pencil shaving notes. Rich & soft with a smooth finish of lingering tannins. Produced from 100% grapes grown on the McGregor Estate.
This vintage of Cabernet Franc represents the large, ripe 2017 vintage well. . Aromas and flavors of red cherry, strawberry, and a hint of raspberry lead to a finish that sits lightly on the palate. More subtle flavors of graphite, herbs, dust and oak are also expressed nicely on the finish. This wine is light to medium bodied and has outstanding fruit expression.
While color is never an issue with this wine, this vintage is clearly off the charts- 100% opaque! The wine is quite aromatic and reminds me of ripe elderberries, black currants, blackberries, coconut and freshly split white oak. These characteristics follow through on the palate beautifully. The wine is rich and soft and ripe tannins grip (not bite) the palate and lead to a long, long finish.
This semi-dry Gewürz is full of spice and fruit character- pear and tropical fruits mingle on the palate with hints of fresh ginger. Its sweetness is beautifully balanced with Finger Lakes acidity. Great with Thai and Mexican fare, grilled bratwurst and spicy ribs. Estate Grown
