This wine is dark and gorgeous in the glass. Aromas of ripe blackberry, sweet coconut and black tea rise from the glass flow through to the palate. Suggestions of elderberry, cranberry and black currant are continuing to develop over time. Soft and rich with a long lasting finish.

Aromas and flavors of ripe blackberry, elderberry, raspberry and cranberry are interwoven with sweet oak and velvety tannins. The finish lingers on and on. This is an exciting and vibrant youthful wine that can look forward to a long life ahead. 

This banner 2010 vintage has an enticing inky purple/black color that seems to nearly stain the glass. It offers a complexity of aromas and flavors including plum, blackberry, sweet oak, coconut, elderberry, smoke and earth. It is a sublime wine whose finish lingers on and on..

Fermentation lasted 10 days at temps of 72-81 degrees and a full malolactic fermentation was completed. The wine was oak aged for 20 months in new and used American oak and then transferred into stainless steel, egg white fined and cold stabilized. The wine was bottled on August 31, 2006
