Aromas of green apple fresh pear abound with an underlying herbaceous character. These aromas continue onto the palate along with classic Finger Lakes slate and mineral depth. This versatile food wine will shine over the next one to four years.
Bob McGregor had an idea one day back in the early 1990s, back when nobody was contemplating producing sparkling apple wine for sale in the Finger Lakes...
This vintage of Pinot Noir is a blend of all three of the Pinot Noir Clones we grow here at McGregor Vineyard: Mariafeld clone, Clone 7, and the Gamay-Beaujolais clone. This is a very aromatic wine with aromas reminiscent of ripe red raspberries, cherries and strawberries with a hint of vanilla. These aromas follow through on the palate and the wine is rich and medium bodied. The oak character is elegantly integrated with the fruit character and the wine lingers nicely on the palate. Aged for 27 months in French Oak.
Aromas of ripe apricot, honey, spice and hints of tropical fruit abound and follow through on the palate. The wine has a thick, creamy texture and ripe apricot and pineapple flavors are most prominent. The racy acidity in this wine makes for a crisp, refreshing finish.
This vibrant Chardonnay has aromas of toasted yeast, pear and green apple. Medium bodied on the palate, the aromatics are intertwined with lemon and sweet oak and the citrus finish lingers nicely. This wine is enjoyable right now but will benefit from cellaring for at least 3-5 more years.
We only produce Dry Riesling when the growing season is optimal for this wine style and our last release was in 2013. This vintage is bursting with aromas and flavors of fresh peach, apricot, nectarine and mouth-watering citrus notes.
This vintage of our dry styled Gewürztraminer is reminiscent of those produced in Alsace. It is medium bodied and has intense aromas and flavors that remind one of honeydew melon, pear, ginger, white pepper and citrus peel. Produced from 35+ year old vines- some of the oldest Gewürztraminer plantings in the northeast USA.
Fruit forward aromas of grapefruit and peach leap from the glass. These aromatics are present on the palate along with nectarine, lemon zest and nuanced floral characteristics. Expressive aromatics and flavors are vivid reminders that this wine is crafted from a ripe vintage.
This very aromatic wine has a pale, alluring golden straw color. Aromas of lemon, lime and peach jump out of the glass and continue onto the palate where they mingle with flavors of apricot, tangerine and orange blossoms and lead to a crisp, bright lemony finish. The balance of fruit, sugar and acidity in this wine highlights the complexity of this delicious estate grown and produced Riesling.

This vintage of Black Russian Red has an enticing deep red-purple color backed up with aromas reminiscent of black currants, elderberry, ripe plum, and ripe red raspberries. This medium bodied wine combines all these aromas on the palate with tart cherries, mellow oak character and rich, silky tannins all leading to a nice, long and contemplative finish.
This is a crisp, refreshing, drier styled white table wine and is a blend of Cayuga White (64%) and Vignoles (36%). A perfect wine for everyday enjoyment.
A dry oak aged blend of vinifera and hybrid grapes including Saperavi, Sereksiya Charni, Lèon Millot & Cabernet Franc. It’s soft and velvety in the mouth with excellent fruity character and a smooth finish. This everyday red wine pairs very well with spicy foods, BBQ ribs and red sauces.
