Don’t miss our Saperavi celebration where we are sampling the 2019 Saperavi Reserve along with a first taste of our 2018 Saperavi Grand Reserve, and a barrel sample of our 2020 Saperavi Reserve. The real highlight of the flight is a sample from our wine library of our 2013 Black Russian Red 36 Month Barrel Reserve! This experience will surely give you an understanding of the fantastic aging potential of McGregor Vineyard Saperavi wines.
Saperavi is an ancient winemaking grape variety that is primarily grown and produced in the Republic of Georgia. McGregor Vineyard was the first winery in the United States dedicated to growing and producing high quality Saperavi wines. Our 2019 Saperavi Reserve is our most current release and was bottled after two years of maturation in oak barrels. Our 2018 Saperavi Grand Reserve has never been presented to the public before. This showstopper was aged in small oak barrels for three years and is now ready to impress you for the very first time.
These Saperavi wines are complimented with samples of delicious Georgian inspired foods. When you make your reservation you will have the option to choose either a Saperavi Pairing Plate or a Vegetarian Saperavi Pairing Plate to enjoy with the featured Saperavi wines at our event.
