We only produce Dry Riesling when the growing season is optimal for this wine style and our last release was in 2013. This vintage is bursting with aromas and flavors of fresh peach, apricot, nectarine and mouth-watering citrus notes.

This wine is a great example of why you shouldn’t be afraid of residual sugar in Rieslings from the Finger Lakes. The naturally high acidity in our Rieslings provide the perfect counterpoint to residual sugar which provides bigger mouthfeel in the wine. This vintage has a light golden straw color and is very aromatic with essences of orange blossoms, honey, stone fruits and tangerine all rising from the glass. These characteristics are also present on the palate along with apricot and citrus peel.
This beautiful bottle of Riesling was crafted from hand selected clusters of Riesling grapes infected with botrytis cinerea, also known as the “noble rot.” Botrytis grapes have lost much of their water content and their sugars are concentrated.
The result is a very mouth filling wine with outstanding Riesling character - with additional spice and honey notes. Definitely a wine worthy of long term cellaring.
