This wine has medium sized bubbles and a light golden straw color. The nose is full, intense, fresh and vivid with aromas of lemon, tangerine, orange, pineapple and white lily flowers. The palate has medium texture, youth and a fruit driven richness balanced with a touch of yeast and bread dough. This Blanc de Noir is our first since the 2008 vintage and it is a beautiful expression of just how well suited the Finger Lakes region is for sparkling wine production.
A golden straw colored wine with outstanding acid/sugar balance. Don't be frightened by the higher residual sugar! As with the other 2019 Rieslings, this one has great complexity- aromas and flavors remind me of fresh apricots, orange, spice and tropical citrus notes. This wine should really develop beautifully over the next decade.
This bone-dry wine is produced this using the traditional methode champenoise, and aged for just a year on the lees. Enjoy this delicate white wine's perfumed character - reminiscent of fresh orange blossoms and crushed mint.
This wine is light golden in color and is incredibly complex and boastful. Aromas abound- lychee fruit, grapefruit, orange, wet stone, fresh ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon, and a faint floral/rose petal are all enticingly present. The palate is rich and expanding with flavors of tangerine, pear, minerals, a hint of allspice. It lingers with flavors of citrus and pepper.
This straw colored wine is very aromatic and complex. Aromas and flavors of peach, lime, lemon, white flowers and passion fruit abound. It's light and zippy on the palate with a beautiful, lingering finish.
Rkatsiteli is one of the oldest winemaking grapes known in the world and it is only grown by a few vineyards in the United States. This 2019 vintage is on the dry side of semi-dry and has aromas and flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, lemon, brine/sea foam, serrano pepper, cinnamon, and green apple. Sip this light, crisp and delicate wine on its own or pair with shellfish, shaved fennel salad or fennel au gratin.
This is light golden wine with a slight green hue. This semi-dry Chardonnay has no oak whatsoever and is full of apple, honeydew and pear character. It is lush and lingering on the palate. As soon as I tasted this I knew it was one of my favorites of the 2019 white wines. At this price, there's really no reason not to purchase five cases at a time.
This pale straw colored wine bursts with mandarin, nectarine and spicy aromas. These aromas combine with candied orange rind, peach and apricot on the palate. It's a firm, racy, acid-driven wine balanced with a touch of residual sugar and has a nice, long finish. Delicious!
This medium bodied wine has aromas of pineapple, citrus peel, ripe apricots, and a touch of banana. The palate is treated to the lively acidity to balance the wine's residual sugar. Enticing flavors of pineapple, Meyer lemon, and orange peel sit on the tongue and linger on and on. Drink now or cellar and enjoy its evolution in the bottle for many, many years.
This is a very pale wine with an orange-pink hue resulting from very little skin contact. Enjoy gentle aromatics and flavors of wild strawberry and citrus abound on the palate.
This vintage is a brilliant light salmon pink wine with aromas of tart cherry, rhubarb and a hint of white pepper. This high acid wine refreshes the palate with red fruit forward character, citrus and a lingering finish.
This is a beautiful and nuanced vintage of Gewürztraminer. Open a few hours before enjoying and enjoy a complexity of scents and flavors: pear, apple, pineapple, apricot, white pepper and ginger alongside some subtle floral character. The wine is weighty on the palate and leaves you with a long, lingering and delightful finish.
